Dear Georgetown Little League Families,

We are so excited to get the season rolling. I would like to explain how we will be doing it this year as it will happen outdoors. Players will check in at the table at the beginning of the walkway. They will proceed to the first base dugout on the Major Diamond. They will wait there in line and social-distance until it is their turn. Players will exit out of the third base dugout and return to parents from there. Our first tryout is this Saturday the 13th and weather permitting our second date is March 20th. Attached to this email are our important dates, which includes the time slots for players. Let’s get ready to play some baseball!

10:00 am ...............................6 & 7 Year-olds

12:00 pm ...............................8 Year-olds

2:00 pm .................................9 Year-olds

3:00 pm .................................10, 11, and 12 Year-olds

Tryout Day #2 - Saturday March 20st at Georgetown Little League

Start Time Age Group

10:00 am ..............................6-8 Year-olds,

11:30 am …………………….. 9 Year-olds

1:00 pm ................................10, 11, and 12 Year-olds

2:30 pm ………………………..13 and 14 Year-olds

Tryout Notes:

Due to COVID Restrictions, we will be hosting tryouts outside at Georgetown Little League.

Please have your child dressed in proper clothing according to weather.

Your child will receive a number prior to his/her tryout.

March 27th will be reserved for a makeup day, due to weather.

There will be a table to check in, while waiting players may wait in their vehicles.

All 10, 11 and 12 Year-olds must attend 1 of the above tryout dates in order to be eligible for a Major League Team. This is a Little League International rule.
