Dear Georgetown Little League Parents,
Thank You!
We just wanted to say thank you to all of those that attended the 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday and today for the Georgetown Little League Day at Parkview Field for the Tin Caps game. The weather cooperated for the most part, especially Saturday, and the weekend was a tremendous success for Georgetown.
We also want to thank all of the volunteers who helped in getting the fields ready Saturday. We would not have been able to get those games in without that assistance. Most if not all the other little leagues in the area cancelled their games Saturday but we did not. This is one of the reasons why Georgetown is the place where parents want their children to play baseball.
In addition, we want to thank our sponsor, Coach McKinstry's Warehouse, for the tarp that they contributed to the prep diamond. Without that tarp, we would not have been able to have play the Prep games on Saturday.
One last thank you goes to Big Bang Fireworks for contributing the fireworks that wrapped up the celebration on Saturday.
