Picture Day and Opening Day Reminders
To All Georgetown Parents,
Tomorrow, Saturday April 20th is our Picture Day and Opening Day. Here are some reminders and directions regarding tomorrow:
Pictures – Tball – Majors Divisions
Pictures will take place at the scheduled picture time for your team no matter whether your game is played or not. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your schedule picture time. If you do not know or are not sure, ask your manager. You can fill out your order form ahead of time if you received one from the manager or can fill one out prior to your scheduled picture time. You can also order online at Varsityphoto.com.
All pictures will be taken in the basement of Faith Baptist Church.
Please have your child wear gym shoes in Faith Baptist. They can put their cleats on afterward at the ballpark.
There are a couple of teams not taking pictures tomorrow and their pictures will be done at a make-up date to be determine
Opening Day Games and Ceremony
Assume the games are being played unless told otherwise. That is the rule of thumb for all games during the season, not just tomorrow.
With that being said, the cold temperatures that are forecasted do not look favorable to playing some of the early games tomorrow. The final decision will be made by 7:30 am as to whether the early games will be played. That decision will be shared with each manager in each division as quickly as possible.
Opening ceremonies will be held on the Majors diamond at approximately 1 pm. Johnny Tincap will be attending from 12:30-1:30.
